Triple MMM stands for Making More Miracles. We are a start-up business proudly owned by Pam Hill, who lives on Palm Lakes Estate in beautiful KwaZulu-Natal. Pam has acquired a diverse range of skills in her career journey, primarily in marketing, real estate, recruitment, public relations and event management. She has gained extensive experience in the corporate environment and through her entrepreneurial ventures.
● In 1987, Pam founded Resource Dynamics, a recruitment company based in Randburg, Gauteng. Their mission was to ‘Put the Right Face in the Right Place’.’
● In 1995, she launched Liquid Taste Adventures, which bottled still and sparkling mineral water as well as Edge sports drink.
● In 1998, Pam was paralysed from the waist down after a foefie slide accident. She spent several years realigning her career objectives with her circumstances.
● In 2007, Pam closed Liquid Taste Adventures after her life and business partner was diagnosed with cancer and passed away.
● Undeterred by the challenges, Pam started Hillstream Beverages in 2008. This involved bottling still, sparkling and flavoured mineral water, and creating branded labels for corporate companies. Hillstream was endorsed by the QuadPara Association of South Africa (QASA), which received a revenue stream from sales. Hillstream Beverages enabled Pam to pursue her dream of walking again while enjoying people contact. Here are some notable achievements during this time:
● Finalist in the Radio 702 Small Business Awards in 2008
● Finalist in the INSETA National Disability Leader Award in 2012
In July 2016, Pam relocated from Gauteng to KwaZulu-Natal. Hillstream Beverages continues to bottle branded water for Avis Luxury-driven vehicles as well as attorneys. Pam also collects plastic bottle caps and bread tags for QASA’s wheelchair recycling initiative.
● In November 2022, Pam was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Thanks to an exceptional medical team, the tumour was successfully removed, requiring no further treatment.
● In June 2023, Pam was approached to raise funds for a mother in need of an operation to remove a brain tumour. Pam reached out to The Pottery in Ballito’s Lifestyle Centre, who kindly agreed to create exclusive pottery numbers for her. This collaboration gave birth to Triple MMM, which sells these unique items.
